It is with sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Ronan on 11 April 2006.

Tommy was managing director of T A Ronan and successfully ran the company with his sister Bernadette Cowler. He was an active member of the JIB and was voted in as the chair of the committee for cabling and jointing between 2001 and 2004 before standing down.

Among the congregation of 500 who attended a requiem mass at Ealing Abbey on 24 April 2006 were representatives from several of the industry's leading companies.

As a tribute to Tommy's reputation within the industry, T A Ronan wishes to make assurances that it will maintain the high standards of service set down by Tommy during his working life.

Tommy leaves a wife, Jay Ronan, and three children, Tom, Mary and Patrick. Tommy's wife, family and colleagues at T A Ronan wish to thank all who sent their condolences and tributes for a man who will be sorely missed.
