The National Security INSPECTORATE (NSI) RECENTLY presented its first Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to NSI-approved companies in recognition of their achievement of meeting the highest standards in the security and fire industries.

Speaking at a series of presentations held in Belfast, Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh, NSI chief executive Tom Mullarkey explained how it will be essential for the organisation to focus on independence in order that it maintains and develops credibility in the eyes of the public – and industry – at large.

Mullarkey is pictured here with Maisie McElwaine (proprietor of McElwaine Security, one of the first NACOSS Gold Medal recipients).

The NSI will continue to present companies with their medals on a regional basis over the coming months, having commissioned The Royal Mint to produce the exclusive awards design.
