A homeless people's hostel in Norwich is trying to raise £3m by selling its building and leasing it back.
Norwich YMCA has used the 19th-century building for more than 130 years but needs modern facilities.

Angela Harper, head of housing development, said: "It doesn't have support facilities or 21st-century facilities. We're looking to lease it for three to six years – or however long it takes to move to a purpose-built place."

The charity has signed up local estate agent Brown & Co and plans to start advertising for a buyer this month.

It has shortlisted four housing associations to build the new property: Orbit, Cotman, YMCA England and Flagship.
