Northern lights

After-dark scenes in Gateshead have been transformed by the Millennium Bridge. Around 700 lamps were used to create a multi-coloured light show. The £600 000 installation included cold cathode, led and floodlighting and was co-ordinated by Syncro at its Newcastle centre. Proprietary and first-fix works were installed during construction by Harbour & General; ancillary systems were fitted on site at the river.
