3:00PM Cost consultant worked on City of London Academy, shortlisted for prestigious award

QS Northcroft worked on one of the 14 schemes shortlisted for the Prime Minister's better public buildings awards. The City of London Academy was the first to be procured through the PPC2000 partnering contract.

The scheme, designed by architect Studio E and built by contractor Willmott Dixon, provides secondary education building for 1,200 pupils aged between 11-10.

A statement from Northcroft said: "The project team has risen to the challenge of delivering quality and innovation within a tight time frame and to budgets which are within the nationally set tight DfES guidelines."
