Norbain has launched a new training course to help installers deal with the complexities of the Data Protection Act.

The one-day course was devised by technical training manager Ian Fowler, and addresses many of the questions that remain about the act, and systematically deals with and clarifies each issue. Courses run on July 7 in Blackpool, September 15 in Reading, October 6 in Warrington, and December 15 in Reading.

Norbain has also announced venues and dates for its Norbain LIVE 05 events. Dates are: Glasgow – September 20 (Normandy Cosmopolitan Hotel); Durham – September 22 (Ramside Hall); Blackpool – September 27 (De Vere Heron's Reach); Birmingham – September 29 (Penns Hall Ramada Hotel); London – October 4 (Kempton Park Racecourse); Cardiff – October 6 (Glamorgan Cricket Club); Belfast – October 11 (The Europa Hotel); Dublin – October 13 (Red Cow Hotel).
