Merited as the RICS and RLF responses are (to the Guardian attack), they really miss the point.

For the client, Wembley, there is no cost overrun. The contract price with Multiplex as far as I am aware is still the original figure of circa £450m.

The fact that the contractor appears to have had problems getting back to back agreements with its subcontractors is no fault of the project QS, Franklin + Andrews.
