Night life: Developer George Wimpey has agreed to build 134 homes on a former council depot in Slough. The £20m scheme will include 30 homes for subsidised rent, 13 flats for key workers and 10 live-work units, managed by Thames Valley Housing Association and designed in-house by George Wimpey. The site will also include a “home zone”, where traffic will be reduced to create a community area.
