Nicoletti has developed a tool to assist with the tricky task of pulling cable into pre-installed trunking or conduit.

The Lancord 20 helps to overcome the problems of cable bending and snagging and ensure conduit/trunking does not contain debris, which can stop or impair the installation.

The device has been designed to pull cables up to 20 metres in length and up to a total weight of 25 kg with the press of a button.

The patented drive can be used with any popular brand of drill, says the manufacturer. If required, however, Lancord 20 can also be supplied with its own dedicated drill.

The cable is pulled by a nylon rod and protected by a shock absorber, which reduces the final recoil.

The nylon rod is self-cleaning to promote repeated, trouble-free operation.Nicoletti claims that the Lancord 20 is lightweight but durable.
