Equion-led consortium chosen to lead £248m project in Scotland
NHS Forth Valley has named an Equion-led consortium preferred bidder for the New Acute Hospital PPP project.
The team working on the £284m project also includes Serco, Laing O'Rourke and Keppie Design. The 814-bed hospital will replace existing facilities in Stirling and Falkirk as part of a new health strategy in central Scotland.
Peter Scott, Keppie chairman, called the decision "tremendous recognition" of the people in the practice: "It enhances our considerable healthcare and PPP reputation, and allows us to continue the development of the practice throughout the UK," he said.
