52 zero-carbon homes, designed with Alan Phillips Architects, given go ahead
Plans for 52 zero-carbon homes in Brighton, designed by Zed Factory and Alan Phillips Architects, have been given planning permission.
Solar PV panels are integrated into the cladding of the PortZed scheme and air source heat pumps provide electricity and heat to the flats.
Bill Dunster, principal at Zed Factory, said the homes, developed by Boho Green, were “capable” of being run with no energy bills for their occupants.
