Acquisition will give WYG project management expertise in corporate fit out and urban regeneration markets
Consultant White Young Green has snapped up Trench Farrow, a London-based project management consultancy, for £4.5m.
Trench Farrow, which also has an office in Swindon, focuses on the corporate fit out and urban regeneration market.
White Young Green has paid £4.5m for the business, £2.25m in cash and the remainder in shares. It may pay a further £1.4m depending on Trench Farrow’s financial performance in the first year.
For the year ended 30 June 2006, the profit before taxation of Trench Farrow was £916,654 on a turnover of £3.4m. White Young Green generated a pre-tax profit of £11.1m on a revenue of £167.5m for the same year end.
White Young Green chief executive John Purvis said: “The acquisition of Trench Farrow is another important step in the development of a comprehensive range of management services within WYG comprising project management, property management, cost management and health and safety management."
