Consultant's trading update reveals large highways jobs and international wins
Consultant WSP has said its order book has grown to a record level of £1.2bn.
It said the figure was due to large deals that included a highways job for Northampton County Council, the Area 8 MAC highways deal and a number of international wins.
In a trading update for the first quarter of 2008, the group said trading was in line with expectations despite liquidity problems in some UK sectors.
It said: “The worldwide markets in which we operate remain generally unchanged.”
WSP also announced that it has secured a five-year £150m funding deal with the bank to provide working capital and fund acquisitions.
