Firm will work as part of consortium on country’s largest ever hospital
WSP has been appointed to provide engineering services on Denmark’s largest ever hospital project.
The consultant will join engineering consortium Medic OUH on the 6.3bn DKK (£710m) Odense University Hospital in southern Denmark.
The 743-bed, 234,000m2, campus-style hospital is one of the first of a new generation of super hospitals in Denmark.
Construction will commence in 2015 and is due for completion by 2021.
Medic OUH comprises WSP, White Architects, KHR Architects, Dall & Lindhardtsen, EKJ Rådgivende Engineers and Oluf Jorgensen.
