An application to start work to cure the wobble on the Millennium Bridge has been lodged this week.
It is expected that engineer Arup will announce its solution today. It is understood that this will be a passive damping system with secondary bracing at each end of the bridge.
Once planning permission has been granted to the client, the Millennium Bridge Trust, the work is expected to take about three months.
