Scheme includes secondary school and community training facilities

Work has finished on the £68m Middlesbrough College, which will provide training facilities for the local community.

The 32,000m² scheme on the Middlehaven Regeneration site includes a college for 14-19 year-olds plus training facilities for subjects including catering, engineering and construction.

The building includes a two-storey block and a five-storey block, linked by an atrium over a 6m-wide walkway.

Turner & Townsend was the project manager on the scheme.
