This wood based fibrebroad can last sixty years

Medite Europe, with Accsys Technologies, has launched Medite Tricoya, a wood based fibreboard that the company says has an expected life span of sixty years. It is made from acetylated material, a process that makes timber resistant to attack from microorganisms and less prone to swelling and shrinkage. The product can be cut, coated, coloured, sanded, struck and fastened the same way as other wood fibreboards. The company says it can be used in a large range of applications including exterior cladding, flooring and roofing elements.
