Building products giant has now spent £383m on acquisitions this financial year
Wolseley has made two acquisitions worth £9m, bringing its total amount of acquisitions this year to £383m
The building products giant bought Swedish builders merchant Säve Trä Försäljnings through its Scandinavian DT Group wing, and fire protection specialist FireFab through its Ferguson wing in North America.

The aggregate acquisitions total £9m, bringing the number of Wolseley’s bolt-on acquisitions to 43 since 1 August 2006. These acquisitions are worth £383m together, and are expected to add £671m to Group revenue in a full year.
Most of Wolseley’s spending has been in North America, where it has acquired 22 bolt-on firms for a total of £287m. It spent £96m on 21 acquistions in Europe. The Group also acquired DT Group for £1.34bn in September last year.
