Kier, Galliford Try, Willmott Dixon and Wates among the winners
Fifty construction companies have been awarded places on an £840m new build social housing framework, run by Re:allies.
The framework covers new-build social housing contracts across the North-west and Yorkshire and has an estimated total demand pipeline of £836m over its four year lifetime. Kier, Galliford Try, Willmott Dixon and Wates are among the winners.
Lee Parkinson, Efficiency North chief executive, heading up the Re:allies procurement team for this procurement, said: “We are delighted with the diverse range of small and large contractors that have been appointed to our new build framework. It provides an intelligent procurement solution for new build schemes with maximum flexibility via the range of contract options and scheme development processes.
“In addition the off-site manufacture lot facilitates an excellent way for landlords to develop schemes with off-site manufacturers which enjoy all of the benefits of efficiency, cost transparency and the maximisation of social value. We very much look forward to working with our landlords in the development of schemes via the framework in support of their efforts to meet cross tenure new build housing demand.”
