Kawneer has launched side-hung and bottom-hung variants of its AA540 aluminium window tilturn system

The company says the widows have U-values down to 1.5W/m2K and have full compliance with Part L, while optional trickle ventilation also helps meet the requirements of Part F. The AA543 open-in turn-only is independently tested to BS 7950:1997. A pressure equalised system gives both the AA543 side-hung and bottom-hung open-in variants excellent weather performance independently tested to BS 6375-1: 2009 and they are also compliant with Operation and Strength Test BS 6375-2: 2009.
