Peter Jacobs joins logistics firm’s board as non-executive director
Logistics firm Wilson James has hired former Morgan Sindall London boss Peter Jacobs as a non-executive board director.
Jacobs was until recently managing director of Morgan Sindall’s London and Airports division and president of The Chartered Institute of Building.
Previously Jacbos spent 24 years at Bovis Lend Lease, where he was a director for ten years and headed up the team behind the London 2012 Athletes village.
Jacobs said: “I am delighted to join Wilson James as a non executive director. Logistics has always been critical to the successful delivery of complex construction projects.
“The increasing impact of BIM and off site fabrication in the industry will provide an opportunity to increase productivity on site, but only if there is innovative logistical support.
“Wilson James is a market leader in logistics and security and I look forward to working with the team to develop safe, sustainable and efficient solutions for our clients.”
