Tony Palombo promoted to head up logistics group’s construction operation
Logistics and security group Wilson James has named company veteran Tony Palombo as the new managing director of its construction logistics arm.
Palombo (pictured) joined Wilson James back in 2004 as operations director and replaces Peter Jacobs, who retired last month.
Jacobs had headed up the 750-staff division since 2015, after joining from Morgan Sindall.
Gary Sullivan, Wilson James’ chairman, said Palombo “knows our business inside and out, understands our customers and is respected by his peers.
“Tony has a passion for service delivery whilst being an innovator in logistics for construction.”
Among the firm’s current jobs is the Google headquarters building being built by Lendlease in King’s Cross.
