Scheme designed by Sheffield practice Bond Bryan
Wilmott Dixon has nicked a £22m contract to build a police support centre in East Yorkshire.
The 10,000sq m building in Melton, near Hull, has been designed by Sheffield architect Bond Bryan for Humberside Police.
Also on the project team is developer Wykeland Group, structural engineer Roscoe, planning consultant DLP Planning, M&E engineer Services Design Associates and transport consultant Local Transport Projects.
The three-storey building will include offices, training facilities and specialist services and is being built to support an existing police station nearby.
The scheme was given planning approval in April despite an archaeological assessment identifying several suspected Bronze Age burial mounds near the site.
