Scheme will see two towers refurbished and a new extra care facility built
Willmott Dixon has won an £11m contract to build a new retirement village in north Nottingham.
The scheme for Nottingham City Homes and Nottingham City council will create 224 homes within two refurbished 15-storey tower blocks and a new build care facility.
Cllr Jane Urquhart, portfolio holder for planning and housing at Nottingham City council, said: “We have an ageing population, and it’s important that when we’re transforming our neighbourhoods, we ensure the homes we are creating meet the needs of local people.”
