Contractor to build office element of wider £250m regeneration scheme
Willmott Dixon has been awarded a £17.5m contract to build Bristol’s first commercial office building to achieve a BREEAM Outstanding rating.
Client Cubex has picked the contractor to build the 95,000 sq ft Aurora office building in central Bristol, part of its wider £250m mixed-use regeneration scheme near Temple Meads station.
The contractor has won a string of super green projects in recent years, including a BREEAM Outstanding building to house the Met Office’s supercomputer, while it recently completed the UK’s largest non-reisdential Passivhaus facility - the University of Leicester’s Centre for Medicine.
