Firm continues role with developer Places for People
Willmott Dixon is among three contractors to have won places on a huge £4.2bn framework for developer Places for People.
The contractor is the sole provider on the six-year framework’s £3bn lot covering England and Wales.
The framework’s two other lots have also been awarded to one supplier each, with Robertson winning a £900m lot for Scotland and Farrans landing a £300m lot covering Northern Ireland.
All three firms were on the first iteration of the major projects framework, operated by framework provider Procurement Hub, and have kept their places on the new deal.
Work is expected to include all types of construction work on new and existing buildings as well as retrofit, refurbishments, repairs and maintenance.
Projects are expected to be in a wide range of sectors including housing, education, emergency services, health, offices, transport, military, industrial and commercial buildings and other public sector operational buildings and establishments.
