Advisory services sought for £6bn planned restoration and renewal of UK parliament building

Westminster

Advisory services are being sought for the up to £6bn planned restoration and renewal of London’s Palace of Westminster.

Parliament has published the pre-qualification questionnaire for a client advisory services contract worth £29m, slated to begin on 29 June 2016 and conclude on 28 September 2023.

There are two lots: Lot 1 is for an architect-led design team to provide client advisory design.

Lot 2 is for a team to provide client advisory programme, project and cost management.

A “decision in principle” is expected to be made by members of both Houses of Parliament in spring 2016 on how the Palace of Westminster programme of works will be delivered from the options provided in the Independent Options Appraisal from Aecom, Deloitte Real Estate and HOK earlier this summer.
