Martin Tidd says he will continue to work on Wembley until he leaves the contractor in March next year
Martin Tidd, the managing director of Multiplex’s UK construction arm, is to leave the firm.
Tidd will leave at the end of March next year, after being at the firm since 2004. His day-to-day responsibilities have been taken over by the group’s commercial director Graeme Robson.
The announcement comes after Multiplex confirmed that its construction division would focus on work for the firm’s development arm, rather than targeting outside contracts.
Tidd said: “I understand why Multiplex is making changes to the construction division in view of the new strategy. Before leaving next year I shall be working on existing projects including Wembley and the financial close of Peterbrough PFI.”
