Rubbertech launches new rubber tiles for roof gardens at Ecobuild
The Balconeze Acoustic Ceramic Tile will make its European debut at Ecobuild this week.
Rubber specialist Rubbertech will show the tile that claims to have sound-deadening and non-slip qualities, making it ideal for roof gardens and balconies, at Europe’s largest eco-exhibition.
The tile boasts rubber-granulate backing which provides acoustic insulation to reduce noise from people using the roof garden.
It can also protect waterproofing membranes on flat roofs subject to foot traffic.
Rubbertech specialises in using recycled rubber to make flooring systems.
The product was launched on the UK market in 2006 winning the firm the 2007 Success Through Innovation category in the Wales Business and Sustainability Awards.
