Consultants Foreman Roberts and Plowman Craven provide practical information on compulsory green certificates
Consultant Foreman Roberts and geomatics survey and measurement firm Plowman Craven Associates have teamed up to launch an internet site EPC Forum dedicated to decoding energy performance certificates and display energy certificates.
From October 2008, all buildings over 1000m² that are built, sold or rented in the UK will require an EPC, with an estimated 400,000 certificates required for lease and sale transactions in the coming 12 months alone.
The website will bring people together to discuss EPCs and DECs in a straightforward manner. Experts with backgrounds in sustainability and property measurement will be on hand to answers questions and stimulate debate. Generic information is also provided on the site.
