Move part of revamp begun over summer
Wates has appointed a new boss at its offsite arm with a remit to increase its MMC capability under a rejig first carried out over the summer.
Dan Sadler becomes offsite manufacturing director at Prism, which last year relocated to Coventry from York, where it was based when part of Shepherd Engineering Services which was bought by Wates five years ago.
Prism had previously been the responsibility of Jason Knights who left in June after 10 years to join a private equity backed FM firm which specialises in grounds maintenance.
Wates said Sadler will “focus on expanding its offering by developing new innovations that can support greater use of offsite and other modern methods of construction”.
Sadler (pictured), who joined Wates nearly two years ago from NG Bailey, will report to Rob Clifford who under the rejig was put in charge of an enlarged construction services business, which has grouped Prism, SES and building services under one roof.
