Wates brings in former Balfour boss to new net zero role

Firm has previously set out 2025 waste and carbon reduction targets

Wates has brought in former Balfour Beatty associate director Bekir Andrews to a new role of environmental sustainability director

The firm said Andrews will spearhead efforts to decarbonise its operations as part of its commitment to eliminating waste and carbon from its own jobs by 2025.
