Wates appoints pre-construction director

Wates Construction has appointed Martin Kramer as its pre-construction director for the Home Counties.

He joins following a 20-year stint at Skanska and was most recently director of education where he oversaw the delivery of the final schools of the Building Schools for the Future programme.

In his new role, Kramer (pictured) will lead all aspects of pre-construction across the Home Counties, tasked with helping to grow and sustain Wates’ profile across the region.

Ian Vickers, managing director at Wates Construction Home Counties, said: “Martin’s appointment is a significant coup for Wates, and his arrival reflects our ambition to be the premier contractor in the region, delivering a wide variety of high quality projects across the Home Counties.”
