Alumasc’s Derbigum waterproofing system can be done with residents still inside the premises
Alumasc’s Derbigum waterproofing system was specified for the refurbishment of Boss House, a London residential scheme. Derbigum mineral charcoal is a 4mm thick modified bitumen sheet; 1,600m2 was installed to the existing standing seam roof. The company says Derbigum was chosen as it is quick to install and work could be carried out with the residents still inside the premises. The system is suitable for use on warm roofs with metal, concrete or plywood decks.
