Scheme is contractor’s fourth job at Midlands Logistics Park

VolkerFitzpatrick has been chosen to build a new warehouse for a logistics centre off the A43 at Corby in Northamptonshire.

Midlands Logistics Park is being developed by Corby Land and Development, a joint venture between Mulberry Developments and real estate fund manager Frogmore.

This is the contractor’s fourth contract win as part of the overall development

The contract, worth more than £9.5m, is due to finish next April. It will include a 245,500ft2 warehouse and offices.

Externally, the contractor will be responsible for soft landscaping, drainage, car parking space, 43 HGV trailer bays, 22 dock access doors and three-level access doors.

The work follows on from VolkerFitzpatrick’s construction and fit-out of the previous three plots at the site.
