Vistry expects strong second half after pandemic pushes it to interim loss

Housebuilder Vistry slumped to a £12m loss in the first half of the year as it grappled with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

The firm reported a pre-tax loss for the six months to 30 June of £12.2m, compared to a £72.5m profit reported in the 2019 interims of Vistry’s predecessor Bovis Homes.
