Rafael Vinoly releases images of beach resort complex in his home country Uruguay

These are the first pictures of Rafael Viñoly’s luxury beachfront apartments in Uruguay – soon to be the architect’s first completed project in his home country.

The six-storey complex is currently under construction in the South American beach resort. It houses 34 units, including four ‘manor’ and two ‘penthouse’ apartments, with swimming pools on every level of the building.

The penthouses, which range in size from 6,750 to 9,050 square feet, have three ocean-view sides and private terraces.

The project was designed by Rafael Vinoly Architects, assisted by associate architect Carla Bechelli. It is being built by Constructora Sudamericana.
