A new performance venue in Doncaster, built by Vinci, opens to the public this week
The new venue, designed by architect RHWL for Doncaster Council and Muse Developments, is part of a wider £300 million programme to develop a civic and cultural quarter for Doncaster.
Located on Sir Nigel Gresley Square in the Waterdale area, the 7,500 sq m (80,730 sq ft) arts building includes four performance spaces as well as café and bars.
The building has been designed to meet the BREEAM Very Good sustainability standard.
The structural engineer on the project was Arup and the landscape Architect was Grontmij.
