Contractor to build student apartments and academic space
Contractor Vinci has been appointed to build the first phase of the £450m science and innovation campus at Swansea University.
The scheme, developed by St. Modwen, will entail construction of 65,000m of new development on the shore of Swansea Bay.
The University wants to provide world-leading research, innovation and education facilities for its students and the city.
The scheme includes 25,000m2 of academic space and 899 student apartments, retail space, roads and other infrastructure.
