Vince Cable gave a wide-ranging speech at an event supported by Building last week. The shadow Lib Dem chancellor discusses everything from green taxes, the state of local and central government, adaptation that is needed by the construction industry to future climate change and the state of the utilities sector and fuel poverty. The event, called Think Tank, was held jointly with the Think08 event and the UK Green Building Council and was sponsored by Mott MacDonald.
