The Knowles director dreams of an empty sandy beach on an isolated Greek island…
Where are you?
In my home office in my garden in Surrey.
What are you working on?
Preparing the notes for the forthcoming Knowles’ lectures which I am about to present.
How far up are you?
On the ground floor.
Describe your view?
Mine and my neighbour’s gardens.
What’s on your desk?
The Local Democracy, Economic and Construction Act (the new Construction Act), the JCT 2005 Standard Building Contract and a list of issues to address.
Have you been on a project with a stunning view?
I had the privilege to work on the 23-storey Limebank project (then one of the tallest buildings in London) on the corner of Gracechurch and Fenchurch Street.
What’s your all time favourite view?
A view that is almost as good as the view from my office but of an empty sandy beach on an isolated Greek island on a warm day.
