Airflow has launched the new Loovent eco fan to join its existing range of “ecoair” ventilation solutions
The new fan has two-speed intermittent extraction up to 31 l/sec or a choice of five speed, continuous (dMEV) ventilation. The fan can be either recessed or surface mounted, portrait or landscape orientation. It can operate from 2.8 watts and has a fan power of 0.21 w/l/sec on low speed (0.41 w/l/sec on high speed), which the company says is less than the 0.5 w/l/sec for intermittent flow required by the 2010 Building Regulations. The Loovent eco dMEV models are also designed to meet SAP Appendix Q. The firm says the new fan can replace existing Loovents and can be specified to reduce the carbon footprint as part of a whole house ventilation strategy.
