Developer has completed purchase of two sites across three acres in central Manchester
Developer Urban & Civic is working up plans for £300m worth of schemes in Manchester, after completing the purchase of two sites in the city centre.
Urban & Civic completed the purchase of the two Manchester sites from investor Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds yesterday for £22.5m.
The developer said in a trading statement today it is working up plans for eight separate buildings across the two sites, comprising residential, student and hotel uses, with construction phased between 2017-2021.
Urban & Civic also said it was continuing to work up plans for major developments in Alconbury, Rugby and Waterbeach near Cambridge, “which promise to be three of the most substantial additions to the national housing stock over the next 15 years”.
