Building went up 20 Fenchurch Street this week - all the way to the top floor.
With its concrete core complete and the unique steel frame over half way to the top, 20 Fenchurch Street - known as the ‘Walkie Talkie’ - is taking its place as London’s latest landmark tower.
Designed by Rafael Viñoly, the building has an iconic shape. Uniquely among London skyscrapers, it flares outwards from its base so that the larger floors are found at the higher storeys.
This week Building took a trip to the top of the tower, with its positioning towards the Thames-end of the City skyline, outside the main cluster of towers, the Walkie Talkie has 360-degree panoramic views of central London.
