Major structural work is complete on the £21m refurbishment of the Manchester Museum at the University of Manchester.

The project joins together three museum buildings and two other university buildings. This has been achieved by the creation of a entrance hall by the Oxford Road buildings, and through the demolition of an existing university building. Architect on the project was Ian Simpson Architects, structural engineer was FaberMaunsell, services engineer was Operon, QS was Rex Proctor & Partners and contractor was Gleeson Construction Services.
