Embattled procurement body begins dialogue with public clients over new framework
Embattled private sector procurement body UK SBS is planning to launch two contractor frameworks for use by public sector clients.
UK SBS - which is currently embroiled in a legal battle over its £750m public sector consultants’ framework - published a note last month saying it plans to launch a major works framework and a minor works framework.
Major works will cover projects worth over £2m, while minor works will cover projects below that threshold.
In the note UK SBS asked for interested public sector buyers to join a development panel that is currently scoping both frameworks.
