Industry green group to exhibit at upcoming virtual event. First Sustainability Now champions also revealed

The UK Green Building Council is supporting the Sustainability Now virtual event, which takes place next month.

The body is one of two influential supporters of the show, to be held on 13-14 May. The Energy Saving Trust is also exhibiting and backing a live online seminar on greening existing houses. The event is free to register for attendees.

The event will also feature Sustainability Now champions. These are green bloggers or industry thought leaders who will spark debate and discussion during the two-day event. Confirmed champions include:

  • Lucy Pedler, an architect founder of the influential body The Green Register, which has a membership of 600 influential sustainable professionals
  • Principal at green consultancy Inbuilt and green blogger Mel Starrs, who writes at Elemental
  • One of the sector's most popular figures on Twitter, blogger Su Butcher – a practice manager at architect Barefoot & Gilles who blogs at Just Practising.
