Balfour Beatty and joint venure of Laing O'Roruke and Interserve will compete for health park contract
Balfour Beatty and a joint venture of Laing O'Rourke and Interserve have been shortlisted for a £288m PFI hospital in Liverpool.
The two consortiums will now work with the client's project team to battle it out for the Alder Hey Children's Health Park Project. Balfour Beatty has teamed up with architect Anshen and Allen, whilst Laing O'Rourke has BDP onboard.
The capital value of the project is £175m, excluding VAT. Final tenders will be submitted in March next year, with construction due to start in April 2012.
