Smarte East Alliance groups three east of England authorities
Farrans, Lakehouse, May Gurney and Morgan Sindall are among 12 firms that have been appointed to a £500m framework in the east of England.
The Smarte East Alliance is split into three lots according to the value of projects available. These four firms have been appointed to the grouping for projects worth £2.5m and above.
The alliance is a grouping of three east of England authorities - Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk County Councils. It was formed with the aim of achieving efficiency and reliability in the procurement and delivery of public sector capital works.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall Group, said: “The appointment demonstrates our ability to deliver a wide range of high quality construction projects and our strong footprint across the East of England.”
