Architect de Rijke Marsh Morgan and Southern Housing Group have been appointed by Southwark council to design and build the first housing scheme of the 5300 unit Elephant & Castle regeneration. The 29-unit block with modern interiors (pictured) will be located at Wansey Street in Walworth, and will be used as a demonstration project. A process to find the main housing and commercial development partners will be undertaken later this year.
